Smallmouth Bass

Lake Erie is recognized as a world class Smallmouth Bass fishery. The eastern end has rock piles and shoals to hold these hard fighting and often high jumping fish.  Quality ST. CROIX MOJO rods and light line are a fun challenge to get them into the boat.

We catch many 3 lb to 4 lb fish and if we are lucky 5 lb to 7 lb fish are even more fun to catch. 2018 was a very good year for catching large fish and a good volume. Lake Erie is very healthy and producing incredible fishing.

Captain Sam is always out there looking for big fish spots to take his clients to. Some days we drift fish or use the electric trolling motor on low and sometimes we just sit on a rock pile. One thing is for sure, you never know what will be on your hook. It could be a bass or a walleye, perch, catfish, or even a sturgeon, that's Lake Erie.

Book your trip to remember now!

May and June are big fish months for bass.
